Whenever I save a drawing as a new file name i.e. 2213-102 being saved as 2213-103, the following error message always appears:
Unable to open file, file decompression error: 101

Are you opening a file that is on a CD and DataCAD can't put the background files on it?

Are you running 23.00.01?

The error you're getting occurs when DataCAD is trying to open the 'Saved As' file (i.e. uncompress the AEC to a $WP file). Are you 'Saving As' to a different folder than where the current drawing is located? If you open the destination folder in a file explorer window, does SavedAs.aec get written to that location? Error 101 means DataCAD was unable to open SavedAs.aec.

Jim Goodman had a specific way to set up and save to Dropbox for remote users to access files from one central location. At the moment I don't recall how he did it, but it was something you had to set up very carefully.
