I update the .ini file to show this
Code: Select all[Printer]
Clear Settings=False
Enhanced Bitmap=False
FitTo Adjustment=0
Get Default From Windows=False
Multi-Layout Percentage=100
New Cleanup=True
New FitTo=True
New Initialize=True
New Properties=False
Optimized Draw=True
Print Associative Dimensions=Always
Print Bitmaps=Always
Print Fills=Always
Print Hatch=Always
Print Knockouts=Always
Print Line Types=Always
Print Line Weight=Always
Print Overshoots=Always
Print Smart Wall Fill=Always
Print Smart Wall Hatch=Always
Print Text=Always
Settings Auto Load=False
Strong Printer Checks=True
Warn On Printer Unavailable=True

But upon opening a file, I see this
Priner Settings.JPG

This only has happened recently
Using Ver 23.00.02.21 (SE)

Is there another setting that would cause this.
Also would be nice if one could double click the "Always" heading and have it change all the settings.

Still having this issue.
Just opened new file not using any default, Printing settings look like below.

Program Preferences setting

Set everything to "always" and hit apply.
Closed the Preferences, then immediate opened back up, same status, everything set to "As Displayed"

Hi Roger,

I am seeing some discrepancy in these values updating via the Program Prefs as well. I normally keep mine at As Displayed. With my Display of overshoots off, I toggled Overshoots to Always print in the Program Prefs and hit ok. The output print did print the overshoots, but when I returned to the Program Prefs, it had returned to As Displayed instead of Always. I can also confirm that the dcadwin.ini file was not updating when using the program prefs and clicking Apply.

So seems the Entities / Attributes to Print toggles in the Program Prefs are doing something, but I don't think they are doing everything they are supposed to. I think your best bet in the meantime is with Datacad closed, set the values you want in the dcadwin.ini file and then restart.
