I am currently working a screen porch for a client where we are using structural fiberglass columns to support the roof. The are approximately 8'-0" on center. The question is does any have a good way to infill between the columns. Pliasters will not work. I am very interested to see any ideas.

Two options we have used-Split the column vertically, run the screeen line through, install a 1x from floor to head-with appropriate edge detailing for receiving the screen- sandwiched between the column halves.
A less fussy way is to simply run the screen panels behind the columns.
