Select Save As... from the File menu. At the bottom of the dialog under Save as type: select Datacad 12 Files.

You can with the full version of 17, not sure about the demo version.

dave, i did a drawing in version 17 trial and the trial has expired, so do i have to buy the new version to re open the drawing ? i only have version 12 with usb lock ! am coming out of retirement you see ! cheerz Nev. soory to be a pain in the butt !
