Alt v = Vertiocal dimensions
Alt h = Horrizoneal dimensions

In my version 11 7

Alt v & h become enter snap grid.

How can I return to dimensions?

Open your dcadwin.mcr file which is in the DataCAD\Support Files folder.

Edit the H line to read:

H^:^F8^F1^F1^

and Edit the V line to read:

V^:^F8^F1^F2^

This should fix the problem. Hope it helps.
