Not a big deal, just curious, but...

I've noticed that even though I'm a registered user on this forum,
I've never seen my name appear at the bottom of the home page
as to who is online, nor has the number of registered users shown
increased by one. But when I log on and off quickly, I notice the
"hidden" user number go up and down by one. Am I a hidden user
by accident or is everybody a hidden user to themselves? If I'm
hidden to myself, will others see different stats on their screens?
How does this online section work? Dave? Mark?

I admit I'm not vain enough to want to email myself by clicking
on my own name, but sometimes it is useful to interact with others
who are on line at the same time, and vice versa.

Check your Profile. There is a toggle for Hiding your on-line status. See if yours is set to hide or not to hide.
