We have been using the AIA contract software for our agreements with clients, consultants and contractors. Recently the AIA had migrated to a cloud based software. Since the migration, the software has been crap! Several formatting issues. Locking up of the software causing contract files to be non-accessible. We have lost too much time dealing with tech support and doing contracts multiple times to get one that works.

With how dysfunctional the software has become, we are beginning the search for an alternate software for writing our contractual agreements. I would be interested in knowing what other design professional have found as an alternate to the AIA.

We just get a printout of new releases, compare the verbiage to our contract docx files which were created from the previous gen AIA docs and tweak as needed. Formatting issues were the primary reason we gave up on them years ago.
