Can someone explain how to make a slab like a street curb and trun corners with a radius and continue on. This is best associated to curbs with planters and radius ends?

I would suggest using covered polylines.

I would also use the 3d knife function as well it works really good for sloping sites.

Sounds like something for the Sweep macro.
