We have changed the forum settings to allow avatars to be uploaded either directly from your hard drive or from a URL. Click the Profile link at the top of the page to upload an image.

If you have a copy of the image on your local hard drive, use the option "Upload Avatar from your machine." Click the Browse button to locate the file. If the image is hosted elsewhere on the internet, use the option "Upload Avatar from a URL." Copy and paste the web address of the image file into this field.

Avatars must be 96x96 pixels or smaller and less than 64KB in size.

Anyone who had previously linked to an off-site avatar will need to reload theirs, as the off-site linking has been disabled.
