Can anyone explain "in front , behind" , "to front , to back" and "swap" in the Move menu?

Think of things on a layer as being stacked at different on top of each other and your looking down on them. If you move one to the back, it goes to the bottom of the pile. move to the front, and it come up to the top, so it's displayed on top of the others. Like Neil said, it's mainly used for entities that are hard to pick because their borders overlap, like bitmaps and polylines. Also helps when you have tow lines that may over lap.
