Google bought @Last, the company that brought us SketchUp? Some of us (myself included) where worried about what would lead to.
Well here it is SketchUp for free! That's right, FREE. It's only a Personal Use version obviously, but I've already installed it at home and it works great. It really doesn't seem too watered down from the $500 pro version.
I've already designed a storage shed and deck addition for my new house. Up next; a dog house to make all the other dogs in my 'hood green w/ envy.
