Each year I set up a group on ESPN for a pigskin pickem. Just pick the winning teams. No fantasy football.

I sent out invites via the site to some people, but that list was put together a long time ago. If your intested in joining, here is the email that went out:

Subject: Greg Blandin is Challenging You to Pigskin Pick'em on ESPN.com
This message is from Greg Blandin who is challenging you to play Pigskin Pick'em on ESPN.com.

This game challenges you to select the winner of each game throughout the 17-week NFL season and offers a spread and non-spread version. Best of all, it's FREE to play.

Here's what else they had to say:

It's tournament time again. If your interested in joining, feel free. Please limit your entries to just one(1). This is all in fun and just pick winners each week. No draft. No fantasy.

Okay, you heard it here first. I'm picking the Raiders to win the
Superbowl and California to win the NCAA championship.

Just wanted to give everybody a quick laugh. :)
Just hope I get the last one!

It's o.k. Scott if your on that side of the Bay. I won't hold the Raider comment against ya! (Much) :wink: I'm a product of the 80's so a natural 49ers fan. I can't wait to get back up north to Scomas. Let the flames begin!

Well, I'm out in CoCo County, so East Bay/West Bay divisions disappear.
Funny, but all my favorite teams play in different cities: SF Giants,
Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Sharks, and California
Golden Bears (Berkeley) for College. I used to love the A's, 49ers and
Stanford, too, but various things made my favor for them to cool off.

How 'bout them 'Dogs?

Hey, this thread was started by a Minnesotan, so lets stick to talking about the Vikings…wait…perhaps that’s not such a good idea… :)

Greg,
If you didn't do it, I was.
I'm in 3 Fantasy Leagues and two other Pick 'em Leagues, football is like crack to me.

I've set this up for the past 6-7 years and still have regulars ask if I'm going to set it up.

It's easy and I think this year is the biggest group I have!

I think the Vikings are going to do fine this year. We are getting rid of the unwanteds (or they are getting rid of themselves).

We also have a competent quarterback and who seems to be a good up and coming one.

I'll admit I was sorry to see Moss leave, but he was underutilized by a bad quarterback.

That's all now.

G = Me
W = Ward = Dad
C = Chris = Brother
M = Matt = Cousin
M = Matt = second entry that is not suppose to be there.

You should see bowling night...

C.B. = Bro
W.B. = Dad
C.B. = Uncle
L.B. = Uncle
G.B. = Me
J.P. = Uncle

We used to all bowl on the same team. I left it to make my own team.

Yeah, and they lost again last night, what's new.
Now they can crank off 15 straight wins without all that '72 Phins talk to jinx them.

Yeah, I figure if they manage to do this, they’ll loose in their first playoff game, just to screw with my head.
