Woot! We took first place in the people choice in todays 14th Annual AIASJ Sandcastle Competition! It was a lot of fun and a lot of hard work. I have aches and pain that will remind me all week of how much fun it was. There will also be a final judgement by the AIASJ, but who cares what a bunch of old smelly Architects think right? The people have spoken! Team Strom brings home the gold! Not bad for being a rookie team. Each team did a great job, and deserves a foot rub. We had to use all 10 TONS of sand in our creation in 4 hours! I made some new friends, got out in the sun and fresh air. It was a good day. Click on the picture to see more photos.
