Does anyone know how to print a list of the attachments associated with an e-mail in Outlook 2000. Would think the Bill Gates would have thought of this....

Hello Arthur:

You can try this program called WMDecode. It can extract the files from those pesky DAT files.

Outlook 2003 prints the message and has a list of icons just like if you were looking at it in Windows explorer with icon view. Also in the print dialog box, if the attachments can accept print commands (like word or excel files) you can have it print those out at the same time so you don't have to open and print each file individually.

The names in this message have been change to protect the innocent.

The printing of attachments is on by default in 2003 I believe, because I know I did not turn that feature on, it just always has done it. As for the print out of the word.doc attachments and such, If you go to File, Print, there is a check box to print attached files in the lower left corner.
