is there a way to change the "F" color from white ....on the menus

If you go to the Tools, Program Preferences, Interface Tab you can change this color to whatever suites you. At least for v11 and v10. If you are earlier than those you will need to edit the DCADWIN.INI file. I think there is a section in it that allows you to set the colors. I am not sure though.

thanks for reply - the item box I am aware of and is changeable but doesn't seem to affect the left most "F" which remains white when I edit the "font" and color scheme of the adjacent "button" - ie
F1 Layer 1 - I can change "Layer 1" - font and color but not "F1" ...which is barely visible in V10
