Hello all,
I am thinking of purchasing a 19" dell 1905fp lcd monitor for use with my lap top (Gateway 505B2 laptop). The asking price for the monitor is $275.00. It is a used monitor and advertised to be in perfect condition.

Was wondering if anyone else out there could give me some advise or possibly other comparable deals.

If you go here: http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCategory.asp?SubCategory=20 and search on 19", you will see new 19" LCD monitors for as little as $200 or so. Now, there is no knowing how good any of them are, but I'll bet that you might find a good one for less than $275?
