I am looking for a suggested free pdf driver for windows xp and Datacad version 8.
To allow plotting of A2 size page.
(Perferably larger aswell, but A2 min)

The simpler the better in terms of functionality as the friend who needs it is 70 years old and fairly computer competant but not a teenage guru.

Thank you

PDFill, PDF995, and all the others, all work the same way and all have the same look and feel. PDFIll and PDF995 are free. The others probably are too.

They are set up as a printer and, as far as DataCad is concerned, are just like any other printer - no teenage gurus required. They can be set up for A0, A1, and A2, or any other size paper you can think of.

And further to this.........

You might consider upgrading to a later version of DataCad that includes a save to PDF facility. This, combined with a large format printer driver, enables you to batch plot to PDF. I don't think you can do this with a PDF driver. The joys of batch plotting are not to be lightly dismissed.
