Does anyone have experience with netbooks and Datacad 12, specfically HP mini 311? How about Office and such?

I think the 311 qualifies mnore as a notebook than a netbook. It has a substantially larger screen and thus may be a proposition for DataCad. A netbook isn't any good for DataCad and probably isn't any good for anything other than as a short term fashion accessory. A colleague bought a netbook to take on the road but it was so useless it only got half way and he bought an Acer in Brisbane. It has the same 1368x768 screen as the HP 311. It also has an 8.5 battery life, which impresses him mightily.
