It would be handy to be able to click on a button which reselects a previous random selection of entities when redoing a command. An example would be when stretching a selection of entities - getting the direction wrong and then having to reselect the same (sometimes very meticulously selected) grouping to stretch in the opposite direction. The button would be called 'previous selection'. AutoCAD does it.
but my impression when instructing ACAD students was that it was really, really important to ACAD users because they had such a high percentage of command executions, immediately followed by the word "Oops."
Overall, the two programs are becoming more alike as each grabs on to good features that the other has.
