There are 12 great stone textures on the Eldorado Stone® Web site. They are a free download, and can be used in DataCAD rendering materials. Here's what you need to do:

Using Windows Explorer (or My Computer), create a new folder named "Stone" in your C:\DataCAD 12\Textures\ folder. This is where you will store the Eldorado stone texture images.

Go to www.eldoradostone.com , mouse over the "Products" menu and choose "Downloads." Under "Seamless Textures," click the "Download All Seamless Textures" link. Choose "Save" and then browse to the "Stone" folder you created in the Textures\ folder. Save the file here.

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the C:\DataCAD 12\Textures\Stone\ folder. Unzip the "Eldorado-Stone-Seamless-Textures.zip" file, which contains the texture images, into the same folder.

Run DataCAD and create a new, blank file. Click "Edit Materials" in the "View\Rendering" pull-down menu. Click the "New" button to create a new texture, and give it the same name as the first texture image, "Bluffstone."

In the "Texture Options" section, click the check-box for "Apply Texture." Use the folder icon to browse to your new Textures\Stone\ folder and select the "bluffstone.jpg" texture image file. Set the "Scale" for the texture to 6.0 feet.

Click "Save As" at the top of the "Edit Materials" dialog and navigate to the C:\DataCAD 12\Materials\ folder. Create a new folder named "Stone" in the Materials\ folder. Save your new Bluffstone material in here.

Repeat this process for the remaining 11 texture images, creating a new material for each one. You will end up with a nice library of stone textures that you can use in your rendering projects.
