I thought I used to be able to do this but maybe not. Below, I show a ceiling plan with a hatched 2x4 tile grid and lights. It is an xRef of that layout. I can snap to the intersection point I point to in red when I am in the main layers for the ceiling grid and using LayerSnap and SearchHatch turned on and using Intersect. But, I cannot snap to this same intersecting point when trying to do so with the xRef of these layers. I can snap to end points in the xRef layer but not the intersecting point of the hatch on the xRef. Is this possible? And, if so, does there have to be another setting turned on to make it happen?

Just a shot in the dark here, does Search Hatch have to be turned on in both files?

I have Dynamic Snapping on and the xRef in question is a self xRef so it is within the same file where I do have SearchHatch turned on. The odd part is that I can snap to any types of points (endpoints, midpt, intersection, etc.) in the xRef, other than to any points within the hatch pattern. It seems to be only the xRef of the hatch pattern that has discontinued snapping ability within its pattern.
