HI...I know that this is probably a simple problem, but when I dimension a plan, the lines and spaces are about 10 to 20 times the size normally drawn. I can not find a place to make the corrections/ adjustments, the program arrived set up this way... Thanks, Jon

Welcome Jon!

First off, check what you have set up in Utility/Dimensions/Linear/Text Style. Check the size of your text and whether "Text Scale" is on or off (if this is off, your text size will be the height in-scale of the text - ie. for text that measures 1/8"h when plotted for a 1/4"=1' drawing it would be set for 6"; if it is ON your text size will be the final plotted height you want, or 1/8" instead of 6").

You should also check through each of the settings that are in Text Style, Dim Style, Arrow Style and Auto Style. When you have everything set the way you like it, pick "Styles" and save it with a unique name so that you can load it into any other drawing!

I hope this helps!

Thanks for writing...I appreciate it...
I did spent time checking and adjusting all the 'styles' in the dimensioning menu...nothing seemed to change...the dimension offset lines still went off 'the page'.. The 3 inch offset from building was 12 feet. for example, and I can't discover how to change it. This is not a problem I ever had before..

Great to hear that the gremlins fled ... at least for the time being!
