Seems like this happened before. I'm on 18.01.00.07 and have downloaded the update to 18.01.01.03 more than once and DataCAD appears to update. I think I'm updated until I run into a file that says "saved in a newer version (sent by my cad operator), open anyway?" and find that I'm still on the old version.

Each time it downloads, "ok to continue", then restarts DataCAD, still in 18.01.00.07. I'm sure I've rebooted the laptop multiple times since the first failed update, so there is some other issue.

What next?

You either need to run Datacad as an administrator, or you need to manually download the update and run it outside of datacad.
