Microsoft is currently have some issues with their Windows Activation Servers causing systems to think they have an invalid license or a license key for a different product. If you receive a message about windows not being activated or something similar, just dismiss or close the messages for now and it should hopefully resolve in the next few days.

I think this may have been an issue for about a month. It is forcing people to buy new licenses - which means that Microsoft has DISincentive to fix their servers.

Not sure about what might have been happening before but this new issue has been going on since Wednesday evening.
