I drew 4 line walls and then moved the outer ones to one layer leaving the cavity on another one. Now when I go to draw doors it will not pick the four lines to cut. It goes off across the sheet to another wall I tried grouping the outside lines together and the inside lines togethers which did not work. I tried regrouping all the lines together and that did not work. What do I have to do to get the doors with jambs to draw correctly?
Check to see what you have set for wall width?

I think you will need to move the cavity lines back to the same layer as the outer lines. DataCAD will not recognise the cavity lines as belonging to the same wall as the outer lines otherwise. ... If you have already regrouped the cavity and outer lines all together then I think that would already have moved them to the same layer, so perhaps check if that is the case (if it is I'm not sure what else to try).
