Is there a way that i can keep dcad from snapping to hatch work? It would be very helpful. Right now its treating hatches like any other drawing element. Associative is on. Thanks.

Yup! Just go to the Utility menu, S3 Object Snaps, turn off S8 Search Hatch.

or go to the SWOThLUDFBK line and hit the "H" to "h" to stop the hatch from displaying and therefore no able to snap to it.

Or if you have the snap toolbar on just click on the hatch icon to turn it off

Utility menu was it. THANKS! dont know why anyone would ever want to snap to a hatch. you just saved me many future migraines.

I snap to ceiling grid hatch all the time to place light fixtures and HVAC Grilles & Diffusers.

I turn on hatch snapping to get measurements of parts of the pattern so I can scale the pattern as needed.
