If you are experiencing problems with your hardware key, you'll need to download and install the most recent Hardlock drivers with support for Windows 2000, XP (x86/x64), and Vista (x86/x64).
1. Download Hardlock Device Driver version 5.22 (Posted 02/01/07)
Right-click on the link below and select "Save Target As..." to download the file "HLDRV32.EXE". When prompted, choose "Save" to save the file into a folder on your hard drive such as "My Documents."

When you have finished downloading, close your Internet browser and open your "My Documents" folder.
2. Install Hardlock Drivers
Double-click on "HLDRV32.EXE." If you receive a Security Warning,
select "Run" to continue. Click "Next", then click "Finish" to
complete the installation.
3. Restart Windows
DataCAD should now
recognize the hardware key.
